Cette couche est d\u00e9pos\u00e9e par \u00e9vaporation sous vide pouss\u00e9. Le m\u00e9tal utilis\u00e9 est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement l'aluminium sous sa forme la plus pure (99,9 %). L'utilisation de l'aluminium permet d'optimiser la densit\u00e9 de diffusion. La vaporisation de ce m\u00e9tal cr\u00e9e ce que l'on appelle un effet de barri\u00e8re contre les substances \u00e9trang\u00e8res. C'est un avantage particulier par rapport aux films plastiques non m\u00e9tallis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Dans l'industrie, de tels films sont \u00e9galement connus sous le nom de Mylar. Ils ont une structure multicouche et sont en m\u00eame temps flexibles dans leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s. Ces films ont un tr\u00e8s bon comportement isolant. En m\u00eame temps, ils sont r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 la chaleur et au froid et poss\u00e8dent une bonne duret\u00e9 de surface. Leur brillance m\u00e9tallique leur conf\u00e8re un effet optique particulier.<\/p>\n<h2>Films PET<\/h2>\n<p>Les films PET m\u00e9tallis\u00e9s poss\u00e8dent essentiellement les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s suivantes. Ils sont r\u00e9sistants aux chocs et \u00e0 l'abrasion, ne se d\u00e9chirent que difficilement et r\u00e9sistent aux graisses et aux huiles. De plus, ils ont un aspect brillant tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able, peuvent \u00eatre coll\u00e9s et conviennent tr\u00e8s bien au contact direct avec les aliments.<\/p>\n<h2>Films en PET-MET<\/h2>\n<p>Les films PET m\u00e9tallis\u00e9s (PET-MET) sont utilis\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9e dans l'industrie, la technique et la vie quotidienne. On les trouve souvent dans le domaine de l'emballage. Ils permettent de pr\u00e9server la fra\u00eecheur et l'ar\u00f4me des aliments. Les films PET m\u00e9tallis\u00e9s sont perm\u00e9ables \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re et aux gaz. Elles pr\u00e9sentent quelques avantages par rapport aux feuilles d'aluminium traditionnelles. Le film d'aluminium convient moins bien, en particulier pour les aliments sal\u00e9s, basiques ou acides, car il peut lib\u00e9rer de l'aluminium dans les aliments.<\/p>\n<p>Comme le film polyester m\u00e9tallis\u00e9 poss\u00e8de une couche m\u00e9tallique, la conductivit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique est modifi\u00e9e \u00e0 la surface. Cela est particuli\u00e8rement utile pour les plats au micro-ondes qui ont une faible teneur en eau. Le plat peut ainsi absorber plus d'\u00e9nergie et se r\u00e9chauffer rapidement.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la d\u00e9chirure des films est plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Si des densit\u00e9s de diffusion \u00e9lev\u00e9es sont n\u00e9cessaires, la feuille d'aluminium est toutefois pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable, car les films PET m\u00e9tallis\u00e9s sont toujours l\u00e9g\u00e8rement transparents.<br \/>\nLe degr\u00e9 de r\u00e9flexion et la densit\u00e9 optique du film PET m\u00e9tallis\u00e9 augmentent avec l'\u00e9paisseur de la couche d'aluminium d\u00e9pos\u00e9e. Plus la quantit\u00e9 d'aluminium utilis\u00e9e est importante, plus celle-ci est \u00e9lev\u00e9e. La duret\u00e9 de la surface augmente \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n<p>Le film PET m\u00e9tallis\u00e9 est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 comme retardateur de flamme et pour les couvertures de survie.
